What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (“VA”)  is an individual who works independently for various clients from a remote location, providing administrative/secretarial tasks virtually by utilising various forms of electronic communication.

What is the difference between a PA and a VA?

A VA is an independent contractor ans you are not liable for any Statutory deductions from their fees, i.e. pension / provident fund, UIF, medical aid, bonuses, etc.  You are also not liable for overhead costs such as computer hardware and software, office space, desk and chair costs. 

You as a client only pay for 100% productivity, no chit-chats at coffee machines, no coming late and leaving early, etc.

Can you do work at our offices?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of my business and to be fair on my other clients, I am unable to conduct work at your premises.

Will you work on weekends and public holidays

Every VA has his/her own selected office hours; make sure you choose a VA that meets your office hour needs.  Tasks submitted after business hours or on public holidays will be attended to on the next business day.  As VA’s can be located anywhere in the world, always confirm which country’s public holidays your VA observes.

How will I communicate with you?

We will communicate via Skype, Zoom, Telephone, SMS, Email, IM, WhatsApp.

Can you manage my diary, scheduling and meetings?

This can be done by means of Google Calendar; all you are required to do is share and grant access.

How do I get work to you?

Electronically via email, Skype or Box.com.

Is our company information safe?

To protect the sensitivity and confidentiality of client information, it is standard practice to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with you.

What kind of clients can you assist?

I assist all clients from small to medium companies, including entrepreneurs, start-ups and consultants.

How much will it cost me?

I understand that each business has different budgets and requirements, therefore I offer different packages to suite those needs.  Please refer to my pricing table for further information. Three-monthly packages are also available at a reduced rate.

Will the package I purchased for your services expire?

Your package is valid for 6 months from date of purchase and needs to be used within that time.  Any hours not used within 6 months from date of purchase will regrettably expire.

How do I know you are a real person and not a bot?

Every initial meeting with my client is either face-to-face or electronic, depending on their location.

How do I pay you?

I will issued an invoice for your selected price package.  All payments are done electronically via electronic funds transfer (EFT).
